GKB Machines and SMG announce strategic partnership to expand product portfolio.

Barendrecht, March 19, 2025 – With appropriate pride, GKB Machines announces that it is entering into a strategic partnership with the German company: SMG Sportplatzmaschinenbau GmbH. The partnership is aimed at further building a joint dealer network. This will enable customers worldwide to benefit from an even wider range of innovative and sustainable solutions for the construction and maintenance of sports fields.

As part of this cooperation, GKB Machines will produce three essential products for SMG:

• FillMatic FM1500 (GKB Infiller 150) – A self-propelled machine for efficiently and evenly infilling artificial turf fields.
• Streuer SP1400 / Spreader SP1400 ( GKB Topdrop TD114) – A hydraulically driven brush spreader, suitable for all types of infill materials for artificial turf.
• Dekompactor DC1500 (GKB Aerator AR150) – An attachment machine for decompacting compacted artificial turf fields.

In time, we will also look at which machines GKB can add to their product portfolio from the SMG range.
